At Howard Worth we recognise that our employees are our most important asset and are vital to Howard Worth’s success and we are looking to take on both Sixth Form/College Leavers   and Graduate Accountancy Trainees to join our teams in both our Northwich and Nantwich offices, to start this spring / summer.

We offer two types of training programmes: A Sixth Form/College programme and a Graduate programme.

Sixth Form/College Leaver Trainee Programme

If you are looking to jump start your career and would like to avoid the debt of university, then a Sixth Form/College leaver trainee role could just be for you!

We are looking for students with 5 GCSEs including Maths and English and 3 A ’Levels, grade C or above.

At Howard Worth you will combine working and studying study towards a reputable AAT (Association of Accountancy Technician) qualification. The AAT Level 4 is equivalent to the first year of a degree. Once you have gained your AAT qualification there is the option to go on and study towards the ACA or ACCA qualifications. 

For AAT you will study with a local training provider; studying while you are learning and gaining invaluable on the job experience. 

You will receive a starting salary in the region of £14,000 with incremental increases based on exam success and to reflect your level of work and responsibility.

Graduate Trainee Programme

This programme is an exciting opportunity aimed at those graduates who have already graduated or about to graduate from University and wish to become either a qualified Chartered (ACA) or Certified (ACCA) Accountant.

The programme balances a combination of external training and internal / on the job training and all going well you could become a qualified accountant in 3-4 years.  Your external training will be delivered by Kaplan one of the UK’s leading education and training providers. We also recognise the importance of on-the-job training on your journey to become a successful accountant and learning from your more experienced colleagues.

The training requires hard work and dedication, but we think you will find this commitment worthwhile in the longer term.

The entry requirement to the program is a  2:1 degree in any discipline (either obtained or predicted) or full AAT qualification.

You will receive a starting salary in the region of £17,000 with incremental increases based on exam success and to reflect your level of work and responsibility.
