Chris qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor in 1999, joining Howard Worth in 2000 and became a partner at the practice in 2007. He works with sole traders, partnerships and non-audit limited companies.
Chris is a member of the STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) Cheshire Committee and is experienced in all aspects of personal tax, trusts, inheritance tax planning and capital gains tax matters. He is also a judge for the annual Salters Den Competition – which rewards the most promising new business start-up in the Northwich and Winsford area.
Chris enjoys bike rides – so much so, in the past few years he has completed two separate cycle challenges as part of a small team for local charity – CAFT. The “Giro DAFiTalia” Pisa to Nice – 256 Miles and the London to Paris Cycle – 327 miles, both completed in four days! Chris raised over £3,500 for the charity with his efforts.
He has a black Labrador called Lily and enjoys taking her out to the local countryside for long walks, which on occasion means he can also indulge in another of his favourite things Real Ales, if they happen to pass a country pub on route!
