Making Tax Digital – What does it mean for your Business? – Thursday 25th April
April 25 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Making Tax digital (MTD) started in April 2019 and will affect businesses who are VAT registered with turnover over £85k. The way you keep your business accounts may need to change, as paper records will no longer be sufficient. We are running a series of Seminars to update you on the requirements.
Tim Lwin, Tax Partner, will be hosting the event and explaining why the government is implementing this new system of reporting tax. He will bring you up to speed with the MTD legislation and what it means for your business; and how Howard Worth can support you as your accountant.
You may need to review your existing book keeping requirements. We will discuss potential providers of book keeping software who are working closely with HM Revenue and Customs to meet the requirements of MTD.
One of these providers is Xero. A representative from the software company will be attending the seminar and will be able to offer more information and demonstration of what the product is able to deliver.
Light refreshments will be served.
